About us | Grievesons Valuers & Auctioneers

Grievesons Valuers & Auctioneers was established in 2013 by Stephen Grieveson.

Prior to starting up the company, Stephen worked for one of the oldest auction houses in the North East. Initially, he was responsible for the removal of assets in preparation for auction. This quickly progressed to managing auction days from set-up to item collections.

During this time, Stephen worked with a number of well-established insolvency companies including: KPMG, Deloitte, Begbies Traynor and Baker Tilly (formerly RSM Tenon).

Having gained a wealth of valuable experience in all aspects of auctioneering and valuation, Stephen embarked on studying for his NFOPP Level 3 in Chattels Auctioneering and gained this award in August 2013.

Until recently, Stephen continued to carry out all aspects of auctioneering and valuation before establishing his own company, Grievesons Valuers & Auctioneers.
With this wealth of first hand experience and knowledge of the industry, Grievesons are able to provide a consistently professional, cost-effective service by keeping all services internal and removing the need for sub-contracting.

These capabilities allow Grievesons to manage jobs completely from start to finish, removing all hassle for clients. Something which is unique in the industry.

Grievesons are members of NAVA (National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers) who are a professional regulating body ensuring best practices of its UK members. Our membership displays our commitment to providing services at the peak of industry standards and presents our professional competencies as Valuers and Auctioneers.
